Ingredients
- 2 cups brown Rice Cereal "puffed rice cereal"
- 2 cups organic Rolled Oats
- 1/4 cup organic ground Flaxseed Meal
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 tsp salt
Heat the following ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla add later
Instructions
- Mix the brown rice cereal, oats, flaxseed meal, sunflower seeds, cranberries and salt in a large bowl and set aside.
- In a small saucepan add honey, almond butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Heat the ingredients on medium heat until the texture is warm and smooth.
- Remove from heat and add 1 tsp of vanilla flavoring.
- Pour mixture over dry ingredients and mix well.
- Put granola mixture in a lightly greased 9 x 13 pan and spread evenly.
- Freeze granola for at least 2 hours before cutting.
- Keep frozen for best results.
